The Role of Logistics and Transportation Can Increase the Efficiency of Ease in Shipping Goods in Indonesia

Abstract

Purpose : The purpose of this journal is to illustrate how
logistics and transportation can improve the efficiency of goods
delivery in Indonesia. The research aims to provide
recommendations for stakeholders in developing strategies that
can improve the efficiency of logistics and transportation,
which is important for economic activities in Indonesia.
Method : This research uses the literature study method to
examine the role of logistics and transportation in improving
the efficiency of freight forwarding in Indonesia. Data
collection was conducted through a systematic search of
various academic databases, digital libraries, and government
archives to identify relevant publications, including journal
articles, industry reports, theses, and dissertations.
Result : The logistics and transportation sector in Indonesia is
an important pillar for economic growth and meeting people's
needs. Investments in technology and infrastructure,
coordination between industry players, and the selection of
efficient modes of transportation all contribute to improving the
efficiency of shipping goods. Cooperation between the
government and the private sector in the development of this
sector is crucial to improving the quality of life and
strengthening Indonesia's position in the global market. This
marks the logistics and transportation sector as key to
sustainable economic growth and national economic
resilience.
