Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Akurasi Chest Pass Permainan Bola Basket melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Ambon
Abstract
This study aims to improve learning outcomes regarding the accuracy of the "chest pass" in basketball through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. The study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in several stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. Data collection techniques include chest pass skill tests, observation of student and teacher activities, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using a quantitative descriptive approach by comparing student learning outcomes across the initial stage, Cycle I, and Cycle II. The PBL model is implemented by presenting problems related to the accuracy of the chest pass; students are then guided to identify these problems, seek solutions, engage in group practice, and evaluate their practice results. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the PBL model can improve students' chest pass accuracy. This improvement is evidenced by students' enhanced ability to execute the chest pass with precision, proper direction, and correct technique, as well as an increase in student engagement and active participation throughout the learning process. Consequently, the Problem-Based Learning model can serve as an alternative pedagogical approach in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) to improve the mastery of chest pass skills in basketball among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon.
