Pengembangan Praktikum Virtual Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Penalaran Ilmiah Siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA)
Abstract
This research is motivated by the current students' scientific reasoning abilities which are still low. The low reasoning ability of students is caused by a lack of teachers in applying reasoning abilities in learning in the classroom. To overcome these problems, virtual practicum is one of the learning efforts to improve students' scientific reasoning abilities through the application of science and technology in education. This study aims to determine students' scientific reasoning abilities through the development of virtual practicum. This research method is a research and development method or Research and Development (R & D) to develop the media used for virtual practicum food testing. The research sample consisted of two classes consisting of an experimental class and a control class. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' scientific reasoning abilities in the experimental class after implementing virtual practicum on the food test when compared to the control class using conventional practicum, because the use of virtual practicum applications was new for students so they became more enthusiastic and enthusiastic about learning . The development of this virtual practicum is very well implemented in Madrasas for the practicum learning process, especially if the Madrasa has limited tools and materials as well as laboratories or Madrasas can collaborate between virtual practicum and conventional practicum
